Mariachi music reflects the lifestyle of the Mexican. It expresses its pride in the homeland, the beauty of the country and the beauty of Mexican senoritas. It tells of beautiful beaches, of lost love, but also of events of the revolutionary period.
Presumably, the word mariachi originated after or during French intervention in Mexican politics in the mid-19th century.
Starting from the Mexican state of Jalisco, one looked for musicians for all celebrations and especially for wedding parties and found them in the 'MARIACHIS'. After their songs danced, laughed and cried.
That's still like that. At the Placa Garibaldi in Mexico City, dozens of mariachi groups call on passers-by to get involved in a FIESTA.
The musicians appear in white or black costumes, often in the typical charro costumes of the rich Mexican Rancheros, with the original gold and silver fittings. Of course, the black sombrero embroidered with gold or silver should not be missing.
