Talented young pianist. She has performed in important exhibitions such as the Musikgebouw in Eindhoven, the Teatro Carlo Felice, the Teatro La Fenice.
Born in Florence in 1999, Lavinia Bertulli began studying piano at age nine and graduated from the Conservatory “L. Cherubini ”of Florence with Giovanna Prestia, with whom she currently attends the two-year specialist course. Also follows the long-term courses of the Academy of Imola with Andrè Gallo and Ingrid Fliter. From 2014 to 2016 he studied at the Imola Piano Academy in Eindhoven. He followed masterclasses with Benedetto Lupo, Bruno Canino, Enrico Pace, Igor Roma, Alexandre Thauraud, Vincenzo Maltempo, Massimo Damerini, Maxim Mogilevsky and Boris Petrushansky.
In 2018, thanks to a scholarship from the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, he attended a course with Maxim Filippov at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, in the context of international exchanges for musicians of the Italian Embassy in Russia. In February 2018 he performed the Concerto op. 54 by Robert Schumann with the Maggio Musicale Orchestra conducted by Fabio Luisi.
He has played as a soloist and in a duo in important exhibitions in Italy and abroad, performing in various places, including the Musikgebouw in Eindhoven, the Foyer of the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, the Ridotto of the Alighieri Theater in Ravenna, Casa Menotti in Spoleto , Casa Barezzi in Busseto, the Sala Bianca of Palazzo Pitti in Florence, the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels.
First prize in numerous national and international piano and chamber music competitions, Lavinia Bertulli won the Alkan Prize for piano virtuosity, Silio Taddei, the Riviera of Versilia, Maria Giubilei and the Crescendo Award.
In 2016 she was ranked 4th at the Venice Award, accessing the concerts at the Sale Apollinee and the Gran Teatro la Fenice.
