She is a much sought-after concert singer and she regularly appears in concert halls and festivals throughout Europe and Asia. Her repertoire includes Berlioz’ Les nuits d’été, Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder, Rückertlieder, Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen, Des Knaben Wunderhorn and Das Lied von der Erde, Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody, Elgar’s Sea pictures, Bernstein’s Symphony No. 1 Jeremiah, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, as well as a large number of masses and oratorios.

Recent engagements have included Bradamante in Alcina at Grand Théâtre de Genève, Arsace in Rossini’s Semiramide at Opéra de Nice, Ismene in Gluck’s Alceste at the Ruhrtriennale and at the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music, Arbace in Handel’s Catone in Pisa and at the Handel Festival in Halle, Medoro in Handel’s Orlando at Théâtre du Capitole Toulouse. Concert engagements have included Sabina in Veracini’s Adriano in Siria in Madrid and Valencia, Schumann’s Das Paradies und die Peri in Utrecht, Handel’s Messiah in Oviedo as well as in Stockholm, Handel’s Ah! Che troppo ineguali and Ferrandini’s Il Pianto di Maria in Nice, Aix en Provence and Sylvacane and Mozart’s Requiem in Tokyo, Hyogo, Karuizawa and Miyazaki as well as in Stockholm.

2017 included Medea in Cavalli’s Il Giasone at Grand Théâtre de Genève, Bach’s St Matthew Passion in Paris, Barcelona, Frankfurt, Gdansk and Budapest with Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis in New York, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Örebro with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in Amsterdam with The Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Mozart’s Requiem in Bergen with Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Bach’s St John Passion in Stockholm with the Swedish Baroque Orchestra and Handel’s Messiah in Oslo with Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, in Gothenburg with Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and in Stockholm with ReBaroque.

Kristina Hammarström has recorded a solo CD with arias by Vivaldi with Marcello Di Lisa, Medoro in Handel’s Orlando with René Jacobs, the title role in Giulio Cesare and Giulia in Handel’s Alessandro Severo with George Petrou, Idamante in Idomeneo, Farnace in Mitridate, re di Ponto and Cecilio in Lucio Silla with Adam Fischer, Bach’s Christmas oratorio with Jan Willem de Vriend, Mozart’s Requiem with Manfred Honeck, and Handel’s Messiah with Gustaf Sjökvist. DVD releases include Bradamante in Alcina with Marc Minkowski, Bradamante in Vivaldi’s Orlando furioso with Jean-Christophe Spinosi and Daniel in Belshazzar with René Jacobs.
