About
The KlassikPhilharmonie Hamburg (formerly the Hamburg Mozart Orchestra) was founded in 1978 by the well-known conductor Robert Stehli. In just a few years, the experienced orchestra teacher was able to form a body of sound that meets the highest standards.
The orchestra gives concerts in two formations: As a chamber orchestra with 23 musicians - the original liche Mozart orchestra, as a chamber symphony orchestra with 55 musicians - the KlassikPhilharmonie. The namesake MOZART is the guiding star and artistic lerious obligation - but the orchestra's repertoire includes all composers from the baroque to the modern, all styles from the difficult weighty symphonies to light muses.
For years the orchestra has been one of the elite German ensembles in both genres. It impresses with its technical brilliance, musical enthusiasm and its charisma on stage. From-selection of the participants takes place in strict trial play. The young musicians come not only from all parts of Europe, but also from the USA and Asia (Japan, China, South Korea). The integration Thanks to Robert Stehlis, people of such different origins are growing together into a homogeneous whole.
The orchestra gives forty concerts every year average. In Hamburg, his concerts are an integral part of the city's musical life. The performances in the great hall of the music hall (subscription ment, New Year's Eve concert, HAMBURG PROMS - LAST NIGHT) regularly find an enthusiastic audience. Instead of a parade of famous soloist names, Robert Stehli often introduces top-class young soloists. A special highlight since 1996 has been the HAMBURG PROMS - LAST NIGHT concerts, which conjure up a London atmosphere in Hamburg.
Also nationally and internationally the classical Hamburg Philharmonic (formerly the Hamburg Mozart Orchestra) has achieved impressive point. In addition to appearances at festivals such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Mozart Festival in Würzburg, the KlassikPhilharmonie Hamburg gives guest performances throughout Germany. In addition, tours in the European European neighboring countries, to South Korea and already twice to the USA. Stehli and his musicians received enthusiastic applause everywhere, brilliant reviews testify to the international rank of this orchestra.
