Kerem Hasan was born in London in 1992. He studied piano and conducting at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Thereafter he furthered his education at the Academy of Music "Franz Liszt" Weimar and is studying at the Zurich University of the Arts with Johannes Schlaefli.
Since 2016 Kerem Hasan is a scholarship holder in the Conductor Forum of the German Music Council. He receives further support through scholarships from the Solti Foundation, ABRSM and Help Musicians UK.
Kerem Hasan has a strong relationship with Aspen Music Festival and is recipient of the Aspen Conductor Prize for 2018, which brings the invitation to return to Aspen in summer 2018 as assistant conductor. Hasan will have the opportunity to conduct an orchestral program and family concerts.
Hasan is invited to the Salzburger Festspiele in summer 2018, conducting a concert at the Felsenreitschule with the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien.
