About
The soprano, who comes from the Lower Austrian Waldviertel, studied solo singing with Regine Köbler and Claudia Visca at the University of Music and Performing Arts (MDW) and graduated with a master's degree in opera (Blankenship / Marschik, 2013) and in song (Spencer- Smith, 2015). At the same time, she studied vocal pedagogy at the MDW with a focus on children's voice training and graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2015. She is currently being vocalized by Uta Schwabe.
During her studies she began to work as a soloist in the field of contemporary music. At the Neue Oper Wien she sang Johanna in “Baal” (Friedrich Cerha) in 2011 and Anna in “Biedermann und die Brandstifter” (Simon Vosecek) in 2013. In 2015 she took part in “Khodorkovsky” (Periklis Liakakis), a production of the siren opera theater.
She sniffed the theater air in productions with the Arnold Schönberg Choir in the Theater an der Wien and with the Salzburg Bach Choir at the Salzburg Festival.
At the MDW she sang roles like Susanna in “Le Nozze di Figaro” (2013 in the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn) and Ännchen in “Freischütz” (2014).
She also cultivates other musical genres such as the children's opera, currently in “Nebenan” (Florian and Barbara Maierl, a Jeunesse production), or the operetta, especially with the Ensemble Oper @ tee and the Vienna operetta ensemble, most recently in “Wiener Blut”. In summer 2017 she could be heard as Papagena, in summer 2018 as Pastorello in Gars am Kamp.
She is a regular soloist in oratorios and church music in the Waldviertel, Tulln and Vienna (Carmina Burana, Messias, Schöpf, Mozart Requiem, Schubert Mass in G major, world premieres by Florian Maierl and Herwig Reiter, Mendelssohn's Lobgesang, various masses by Mozart and Haydn).
She teaches singing at the Thayatal Music School and gives voice training at Coro Siamo.
In addition to her training in classical singing, she is also continuing her education in pop singing, musicals and jazz.
