Kaiser Franz Josef, KFJ is an Austrian rock band. The band's sound is often compared to such 70s and 80s rock legends as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and AC / DC.
The band was formed in 2010, and in May of the same year acted as the opening act at a concert of the legendary Australian hard rock band AC / DC in Wels, which was attended by 82 thousand fans.
In the fall of 2013, KFJ attracted public interest and popularity by participating in the casting show "Big Chance".
On November 8, 2013 the release of the mini-album How Much is a Mile took place, immediately taking 1st place in the Austrian iTunes Store charts.
It was followed by the first studio album, Reign Begins.
In May 2014, the band received the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the Rock / Hard & Heavy category.
