Julie Reumert is a Senior Voice Associate at New York Vocal Coaching. As a Voice Associate, she specializes in Musical Theater, Pop, Rock/Hard Rock, RnB and Classical Singing. Mrs. Reumert's clients rank from professional recording artists, singers featured in Broadway shows and classical singers performing in operas and sacred concerts. Mrs. Reumert holds a Master Degree in Opera from the Royal Danish Academy of Music and Manhattan School of Music.
Mrs. Reumert has consistently been chosen by distinguished opera houses across the globe to fill leading roles in prestigious stages such as Carnegie Hall, New York Lyric Opera, and Lincoln Center. Throughout her young career, Mrs. Reumert has won numerous international and national awards for excellence in her field.
Mrs. Reumert works as a classical soprano soloist with a variety of classical choral ensembles in New York City. She's a member of the distinguished Downtown Voices at Trinity Church on Wall Street.
Mrs. Reumert teaches sacred chorale singing technique along with preparation for sacred oratorios, hymns and sacred music preparation.
Mrs. Reumert's professional work has been acclaimed by major media including the New York Times, The New Yorker, and Vogue Magazine. She has appeared in publications in major national and international media. Mrs. Reumert also performed a "TED Talk" in New York.
As a Voice Teacher, Mrs. Reumert studied vocal pedagogy with some of the leading vocal pedagogues at Juilliard and the Manhattan School of Music. Julie Reumert also studied under Justin Stoney and completed the NYVC Voice Teacher Training & Certification program. Although Mrs. Reumert has enjoyed an extraordinary level of professional success, her true heart, soul, and Joy are for helping singers.
