About

Estonian mezzo-soprano Ireene Ollino, born in Tallinn in 1996, is currently studying undergraduate studies at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin with Prof. Martin Bruns. She also works with Jeanne-Michèle Charbonnet, Hendrik Heilmann and Jonathan Ware. She gained artistic and musical experience with various master classes, including Janet Williams, Claudia Visca, Júlia Várady, Jeffrey Gall and Calixto Bieito. During her studies, she gained stage experience in various productions and Opera Projects and embodied, among other things, her work as an artist. Dryade in "Ariadne on Naxos", Sorceress in" Dido and Aeneas", Andronico in" Tamerlano", Goffredo and Rinaldo in" Rinaldo " and La Périchole. 
She studied as a fellow at the John J. Cali School of Music in the USA. In 2017, the mezzo-soprano won the third prize and two special prizes at the international Giulio Perotti singing competition. In 2016, she won the second prize at the International singing competition "Triomphe de l'art". She also received a DAAD scholarship and a Fellowship of the Aspen Music Festival.
