Heike Scheele is a stage and costume designer who worked together with director Stefan Herheim for many years.
Heike Scheele studied stage and costume design with Erich Wonder in Vienna and began in 1989, her career as a freelance artist in Germany, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, and Norway. Among the many productions Heike Scheele provided for theatre, opera and musical theatres are "Hamlet", "Tartuffe"," The Seagull"," The Pearl fishermen"," the Csárdásfürstin"," West Side Story", the German premiere of Tan Duns opera" Tee "and in the summer of 2008 the Open-Air Musical event" Titanic " in Magdeburg. Her intensive collaboration with Stefan Herheim started in 1999 with a production of "Die Zauberflöte" in Oldenburg, where the two also released Verdi's "Falstaff".
