About
Héctor is a contemporary movement artist based in New York City. He is originally from Silver Springs, Maryland and began training in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Héctor attended Marymount Manhattan College where he earned his BFA in Dance with a concentration in Ballet. After his college experience Héctor began his first season with The Metropolitan Opera Ballet. Héctor has had the opportunity to dance works by various renowned choreographers such as Alexei Ratmansky, Alphonse Poulin, Dwight Rhoden, Lynne Page, Bill T. Jones, Twyla Tharp, Azure Barton, Alexandra Damiani and Paul Taylor. In addition to his concert dancing, Héctor has appeared in music videos by artists Genesis Jones and Miss Peppermint from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Héctor has also appeared in campaigns for DCF Advertising and has been featured in Issue 3 of Warm Brothers Magazine. Héctor is humbled to be sharing his perspective through dance this coming season.
