Created in 2009 on the initiative of some artists from the Cesena area, the MusiCæsena Polyphonic Choir is set up within the Academy of the same name under the direction of Maestro Silvia Biasini.
Romagna, chooses the new name as Coro Ecce novum. Since its inception he started collaborations with the Municipality of Cesena, schools, associations and choirs of the territory, with the A. Corelli di Ravenna orchestra, the Malatesta Academy Orchestra and with the B. Maderna di Cesena Conservatory gathering consensus both for the informative intent that for the appreciable artistic level of the proposed initiatives. He is the promoter of the Suoni e Colori concert season, now in its seventh edition with great public and critical acclaim. In these first years of activity the following compositions have been performed: the Krönungmesse KV317, the Requiem KV626 and the Litanies Lauretane KV109 of Mozart, the Stabat Mater and the Kleine Orgelmesse of Haydn, the Gloria RV589 and the Magnificat RV610 of Vivaldi, the Deutsche Masses and the Mass in G by Schubert, the Magnificat by Durante, the Stabat Mater by Caldara, the Magnificat BWV 243 by JS Bach and polyphonic pages by various authors from the Middle Ages to the contemporary. He has performed numerous concerts and participations in exhibitions in the national territory including the Habsburg Palatine Chapel in Palazzo Pitti in Florence, Basilica of S. Marco in Venice, Church of S. Maria Maggiore and Basilica of San Giovanni Evangelista in Ravenna, Church of S. Maria del Suffragio in Bologna, Teatro Bonci in Cesena.
