Born in Rijeka (Croatia) in 1981 and with international experience (studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne, the Moscow Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, winner of the Franz Liszt Competition - Premio Mario Zanfi, Concurso de Parnassos and José Iturbi International Music Competition), the pianist Goran FILIPEC, with his powerful energy and pronounced artistic personality, cultivates a particular affinity for classical and romantic repertoire and works of great virtuosity (Liszt, Rachmaninov).
In 2018 he received a PhD in music from the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris and Paris-Sorbonne University, which deals with Paganini's legacy to piano composers. Her teachers are Naum Grubert, Oxana Yablonskaya, Natalia Trull and Evgeny Zarafiants. As part of his doctoral research, he works under the direction of Jean-Pierre Bartoli and Denis Pascal.
He regularly performs in Europe, the United States, Latin America and Japan. His debut at Carnegie Hall in New York took place in 2006, followed by concerts at the Auditorium in Milan, at the Minato Mirai Hall in Yokohama, at the Palais des Arts in Budapest and at the Philharmonie de Paris. She has been a guest at the Contemporary Piano Faces Festival of the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg, and was also heard at the Progetto Martha Argerich Festival in Lugano in 2015 at the invitation of the Argentinean pianist.
