Giulia Rossini, graduated at the MIlan Conservatory with top marks and a special mention under tutelage of Silvia Rumi. She has been attending the “International Piano Academy” in Imola working with the illustrious Leonid Margarius. Winner of many National and International competition, including the prestigious "Premio Venezia" in 2012, the only 23 years old pianist is considered one of the most promising Italian musician of her generation.
In May 2009 she had her début in the “Sala Verdi” in Milan performing Mendelssohn-Bartholdy’s second Concerto in D minor for Piano and Orchestra, followed after few years by her performance of Siant-Saens second Piano Concerto in the same hall. In 2012 she appeared on stage at the “Carnegie Hall” in New York and at the Teatro "La Fenice" in Venice. She performed in recitals and as a soloist with Orchestras, in several important concert halls in Italy including Teatro alla Scala (Ridotto dei Palchi), Aditorium Verdi in Milan, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Teatro Malibran in Venice.
Giulia has appeared also in other European countries (England, Switzerland, France) and USA, being invited among others at the Steinway Hall and “Venice in Peril Fund” in London and at the Clare Hall in Cambridge. Her participation in several renowned Festivals and Music Series, such as Bologna Festival, Festival MITO, Estiva Lugano, Cremona Pianoforte, “Mozart Italia” Association in Rovereto, Fazioli Concert Hall, has been always praised by audience and critic.
She took part in masterclasses and courses held by famous pianists, such as Paul Badura-Skoda, Ilya Poletaev, Paolo Bordoni, Riccardo Risaliti, Malcolm Bilson, Anna Kravtchenko, Boris Petrushansky, Lang Lang, Dmitri Bashkirov, Andrzej Jasinski, François J.Thiollier.
