Born in Aosta in 1985, Gianluca Muzzolon graduated in Cello with the highest marks with Master L. De Marchi at the Fondazione Istituto Musicale di Aosta Valley.
Gianluca Muzzolon has improved with M. E. Bronzi, M. E. Dindo at the Accademia Musicale di Pavia, M R. R. Filippini at the Fondazione W. Stauffer of Cremona and following courses and masterclasses held by Masters F. Helmerson , S. Laffranchini, Ph. Muller, A. Mosca, M. Polidori, R. Rosenfeld.
It has always been an intense and heterogeneous cameristic activity. With the “Trio Maurice” he perfected with the Trio of Parma, the Trio of Trieste, the Vogler Quartet, the Artemis Quartet and the Masters S. Accardo, R. Filippini, A. Perl.
The training was awarded in numerous national and international competitions including the International Golden Oak Award, Val Tidone International Competition and Charles Hennen Concours (Herleen, The Netherlands), he held concerts throughout Italy and abroad and conducted radio recordings for Radio Classica and SWR2 (Germany).
With the Sestetto d’Archi of the Academy of the Teatro alla Scala of Milan Gianluca Muzzolon debuted at the Festival
Ravello International and performed in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Madrid, always attracting a lot of publicity and criticism. Before completing his studies at the Academy of the Milanese Theater, he was dedicated and first performer of G. Manzoni (“Quarto Rivolto”) and M. Sotelo (“Azul de lontananza”) and he made records for Radio Tre Suite, Limen Music and RTHK in Hong Kong.
In 2008 and 2009 won the Master of Music Talents at the CRT Foundation in Turin and in April 2016 was the winner of the international competition at the Teatro alla Scala of Milan, a role he currently plays.
