Giacomo Bigoni was born in 1991 in Reggio Emilia, Italy. Starting his classical guitar education at the age of eight years old, he has enjoyed the highest level of music education since a very young age.
After earning in 2012 a Masters degree in performance with top grades and a Distinction at the Musical Institute Achille Peri in Reggio Emilia, where he has studied with Claudio Piastra, Giacomo moves to England and graduates for an Artist Diploma in Performance at the Royal College of Music in London, studying with Carlos Bonell and Gary Ryan.
In 2014, at the age of only 23, Giacomo Bigoni is appointed Professor of Pre-Academic Courses at the Musical Institute Peri-Merulo in Reggio Emilia and Castelnovo ne' Monti, his old conservatoire.
After winning international solo awards, touring European concert halls (Spain, Romania, England, Switzerland...) and producing his albums Take Time and Extreme Guitar Solo which have been highly acclaimed by specialized press, Giacomo Bigoni is now a highly developed soloist, playing a huge repertoire of classical solo, modern style fusion, concertos for guitar and orchestra and chamber music.
