Ghislaine Roux is also studying singing at the Chambéry and Geneva Conservatories. She completed her training with key courses (Royaumont, Périgord Noir ...) and benefited in particular from the teaching of Lorraine Nubar, Edda Moser and Alain Garichot for the dramatic interpretation. She won a gold medal in singing at the Conservatoire de Chambéry and was admitted to the CNIPAL of Marseille where she worked with Evelyne Brunner, including the role of Carmen that she performed in 1995 at the Théâtre de Bonlieu in Annecy.
She made her stage debut at the Aix-les-Bains Operetta Festival, and sang in La Périchole with the Opéra Théâtre de Lyon under the direction of André Fornier. She then participated in several opera productions at the Théâtre du Châtelet (Peter Grimes, Don Carlos, Jenůfa).
She joined the chorus of the Opéra National de Paris in 1996 and she regularly performs as a soloist (Lohengrin, Peter Grimes, The Knight in the Rose, Dialogues of the Carmelites, The Woman Without Shadow, The Damnation of Faust, War and Peace , The cunning little vixen ...).
She plays the role of Metella in La Vie Parisienne at the C. Dullin Theater in Chambery in 2000. At the same time, she participates in concerts and gives recitals of melodies (Strauss, Poulenc, Debussy, Rachmaninov ...). She performed with The Bows of Paris at The Holy Chapel or the Church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and participates each year in the Musica in Sorrù Summer Festival in Vico (Corsica) since 2004. In March 2009, she participated in a recital in tribute to Max Jacob and performed Francis Poulenc's Le Bal Masked and contemporary compositions by Henri Sauguet (Visions infernales) and H. Cliquet-Pleyel. She obtains her State Diploma as a singing teacher. The following summer, she reinterprets in Southern Corsica The Tragedy of Carmen created in 1982 by Peter Brook and Marius Constant.
