Born in 1987, after studying at the RRC in Paris in the class of Anne-Lise Gastaldi, Gaspard Dehaene graduated in 2012 from the CNSMD in Paris, in the classes of Bruno Rigutto and Denis Pascal. Then admitted to the Salzburg Mozarteum with Jacques Rouvier, he deepened his art with Rena Shereshevskaya at the Ecole Normale de Musique, and at the same time obtained a Master's degree in vocal accompaniment in the class of Anne Le Bozec at CNSMD in Paris in 2017. Winner of the San Sebastian International Competition, Grand Prix of the Alain Marinaro Competition, he received, in 2013, the Annecy Classic Festival Prize and a special mention for the performance of Pierre Boulez's A page of ephemeris, which he had the privilege of studying with the composer himself and creating in 2007.
Gaspard Dehaene performs in numerous festivals in France - La Roque d'Anthéron (Bach concerto with four pianos in 2012, recitals in 2015 and 2016 on the main stage of the Parc de Florans), Radio France Montpellier, musical strolls of Reims ( filmed by Medici TV), Orangery of Sceaux, Piano in Valois, the Epau, Colmar, Nohant, Artenetra, Romantic evenings of Rayol, Perros-Guirec, Chopin in Bagatelle, Music moments of the Hermitage in La Baule, Music on Douarnenez , Musiques-en-Folie of Fontaine-lès-Dijon ...- as well as abroad, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Morocco, New Caledonia, Beijing Young Artists Festival ... Passionate chamber musician Sharing the stage with P. Génisson, R. Guyot, S. Païdassi, V. Julien-Laferrière, G. Caussé or A. La Marca, Gaspard Dehaene is a privileged partner of Adrien Boisseau. After the release of their first album in 2012, they are invited to the Academy of Prussia Cove in England, where they receive advice from Steven lsserlis. Their second album, dedicated to Schumann, published by Oehms Classics in 2015, was warmly welcomed by the press.
The music of his time is close to his heart, he has been asked several times by various composers such as R. Bruneau-Boulmier, Choveaux F., C. Bray, A. Beneteau which he just recorded the Sonata "Douarnenez" .
Winner in October 2015 of the international Pro Musicis prize, Gaspard Dehaene was invited this season, for the third time, to La Folle Journée de Nantes. In January 2015 the Musée d'Orsay hired him for a solo recital, then in 2016 (where he is one of the seven pianists sharing the complete works of Erik Satie), these two concerts broadcast live on France Music.
His first solo album, dedicated to the "Fantaisie" form, presented in recital at the 2015 La Roque d'Anthéron Festival, was released in autumn 2016 at 1001 Notes, in the Envol collection.
He is named artist "Génération Spedidam" for the years 2017-2019, his last engagements led him to OJI Hall of Tokyo, to the Guggenheim Museum of New York, to the Philharmonie of Paris where he gave the 1st Concerto of Liszt with the Pasdeloup Orchestra and more recently at La Scala Paris for the opening of the hall. His upcoming engagements will take him to New York's Carnegie Hall and Toyosu Civic Center Hall in Tokyo.

Passionate chamber music player, he shares concerts with prominent artists such as P. Genisson, R. Guyot, S. Paidassi, V. Julien-Laferriere, G. Gaussé or A. La Marca. He is a regular partner of Adrien Boisseau. After their first CD in 2012, they were invited to Prussia Cove Academy to receive Steven Lsserlis advice. Their second CD, dedicated to Schumann and published by Oehms Classics in 2015 was highly praised in musical magazines.
ln October 2015, awarded Pro Musicis International Prize, Gaspard Dehaene returned for the third time in the prestigious festival Folle Journée of Nantes. After the success of his solo recital in January 2015, the Musée d’Orsay Auditorium invited him back to participate in series of concerts presenting complete Erik Satie piano pieces. Bath concerts broadcasted live on the french radio France Musique.
His first CD, dedicated to the form « Fantaisie », and presented in recital in La Roque d’ Anthéron 2015, appeared in Autumn 2016.
He has been recently named "Generation Spedidam" artist for the years 2017-2019 and made his debut in Tokyo OJI Hall in September 2017, followed by an invitation to perform in New York Guggenheim Museum and in Paris Philharmonie to perform Liszt 1st Concerto with Pasdeloup Orchestra and Elena Schwarz as conductor. Among other concerts in 2019, he’ll make his debut in New York’s Carnegie Hall, and in Tokyo Toyosu Civic Center Hall.
