Fulco Ottervanger (1984) is a Dutch multi-instrumentalist (with piano and keys as main instrument), singer and composer.
Ottervanger grew up in Brussels and has lived in Ghent since 2006. He is known as a versatile musician. He plays in jazz band De Beren Gieren, krautrock band Stadt and the duo BeraadGeslagen with drummer Lander Gyselinck. He is also active in the theater and dance world. For example, he regularly collaborates with dancer Benjamin Vandewalle and makes music theater productions for Zonzo Compagnie, such as Mile (s) tones and Slumberland (with An Pierlé), a music theater performance with Dutch-language pop songs for which he has won several international awards. Fulco Ottervanger was the central guest at the STORM! festival in Ostend, curated an evening at Jazz Middelheim, was artist-in-residence at Trefpunt for 3 years and wrote compositions for Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen, Flat Earth Society and B-Classic Festival van Vlaanderen, among others.
