The Dutch bass-baritone, Frans Fiselier, studied at the Sweelinck Conservatorium with Cora Canne Meyer and continued his studies with William Murray in Berlin. In 1984 he won 3rd prize at the Intentional Vocal Competition of Den Bosch, and in 1986 he won prize at the Toonkunst-Jubilee competition. Following that he started a career as a soloist in the opera and oratorio field in Holland.

Frans Fiselier' opera repertoire includes Pappagano in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Figaro, the Count in W.A. Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Alfonso, Guglielmo in W.A. Mozart's Cosi fan tutte, Junius in Lucretia, Malatesta in Don Pasquale, Belcore in L'elisir D'amore, Garibaldo in Rodelinda, Falke in Die Fledermaus. 

The oratorio repertoire of Frans Fiselier includes J.S. Bach's Passions, George Frideric Handel's Messiah, W.A. Mozart's Requiem, Felix Mendelssohn's Elijah, and Verdi’s Requiem. With Han Louis Meyer he gives Lieder recitals in his homeland. 

In September 2000 Frans Fiselier became a teacher at the Brabants Conservatorium.
