Frank Philipp Schlößmann (born 1963 in Bad König, Odenwald) - German stage designer.
Frank Philipp Schlößmann studied stage and costume design at the Salzburg Mozarteum from 1985 to 1989.
Since 1991 he has worked as a freelance designer at numerous stages internationally. He worked among others with Directors such as Andreas Homoki, Olivier Tambosi, Harry Kupfer and Philipp Himmelmann u. a. at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, in Dublin, at the Vienna Volksoper, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg, three in Berlin, Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper and Komische Oper, Cologne, Leipzig, Dresden, the Munich state Opera, Düsseldorf, Strasbourg, Bologna, Catania, Venice, Oslo, Helsinki, Basel, and the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco, Barcelona, Beijing, Tokyo, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and the Mariinsky theatre in St. Petersburg. In Bayreuth he was stage designer for Tankred Dorst's staging of the Ring des Nibelungen. For more than 140 years, forgotten, then rediscovered Opera Amleto by Franco Faccio in 1865, he designed for the Bregenz festival, the stage play in 2016.
