Francesco Guggiola has played with the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra, the Filarmonica della Scala, the "Carlo Felice" Theater Orchestra of Genoa, the Orchestra of the Arena di Verona, the Orchestra of the Lyric Theater of Cagliari, the Orchestra of the Foundation "A. Toscanini ”of Parma, the“ G. Verdi ”of Milan, the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland and the Zurich Opera Orchestra.
Born in 1990, he graduated from the Conservatory "Guido Cantelli" of Novara in the flute class of Rosalba Montrucchio. Later he received his Master's degree in Music Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, in the class of Mario Ancilloti. He studied piccolo with Nicola Mazzanti. With the support of a scholarship De Sono is now attending the Master in Music Performance-orchestra at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste in Zurich, in the class of Matthias Ziegler, graduating in 2015.
In 2013 he was awarded at the "Severino Gazzelloni" International Competition in Roccasecca (FR), in the piccolo category. In 2014 he held a concert in Roccasecca during the XX Severino Gazzelloni International Festival with tracks for piccolo and recorded a CD for the magazine FALAUT.
He has collaborated with the Filarmonica della Scala, the Carlo Felice Theater Orchestra of Genoa, the Zurich Opera Orchestra, the Radio Orchestra of Italian Switzerland, the Toscanini Philharmonic of Parma, the Verdi Orchestra of Milan. National Orchestra of Music Conservatories, playing in important venues such as the Teatro alla Scala, the Zurich Opera House, the Zurich Tonhalle, the Geneva Victoria Hall, the Carlo Felice Theater in Genoa, the Royal Festival Hall in London and the Royal Opera House of Muscat (Oman), with directors such as Luisi, Bellugi, Albrecht, Lombard, Tamayo, Vedernikov, Auguin and Battistoni.
