About
Florian Eckhardt studied classical and modern dance at the Staatliche Musikhochschule Mannheim and at Yves Casati, Opéra National de Paris. As a soloist, he danced in various ballet ensembles in Europe and the USA, including at the Ballet Theatre Boston, at the Vereinigten Bühnen Graz and at the Stadttheater Bremen. At the New York Dance Festival he won the first prize for Best Choreography (Mario Heinemann) as a dancer with the piece "Blind Date". Since 2003 he has been freelance and lives in Berlin.
