A focus on Italy between the 1950s and 1980s, through 35 events, from June to October. The 9th edition of the Festival della Bellezza at the Teatro Romano Verona is underway, with a very rich program centered on the theme “Myths and taboos. Characters and iconic works between ideas and symbols", conceived around the idea of "art within art", for a total fusion between performances, reflection and scenarios.
The event will be opened on Wednesday 15 June by Massimo Recalcati, with "Bible and psychoanalysis". Followed by Melania Mazzucco, with "Feminine art between ideals and taboos", Tullio Solenghi, with "God is dead and I don't feel so good either", Federico Buffa "Italia Mundial 82". And again, Simone Cristicchi with "We'll be back again - Mystic concert for Battiato", Morgan with "The Beatles and 60s rock" and Carlo Lucarelli with "PPP / An Italian secret".
The review will end on October 22, moving with events to other cities and places, such as Vicenza, Sirmione, Padua, the Cinque Terre, Milan, the Temple of Segesta, the Vittoriale and the historic villas of Valpolicella.
The eagerly awaited appointment is by now a tradition for the people of Verona and for all those who appreciate its increasingly rare sensitivity towards the true sense of Beauty.
