About
Born in 1984, in Bulgaria, he completed his studies at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen with Boris Block and at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Dusseldorf with Georg Friedrich Schenck. He is a laureate of numerous international competitions, including the Chopin in Warsaw, Svyatoslav Richter in Moscow, Queen Elisabeth in Brussels and Van Cliburn in Fort Worth.
He has appeared as a soloist with orchestras including the National Orchestra of Belgium, Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra dell’Accademia di Santa Cecilia of Rome, Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento, symphony orchestras of Houston, Lahti, Athens, Malmo, Polish Radio and RAI, the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini, Tonkünstler Orchestra, Hyogo Performing Arts Centre Orchestra and Ensemble Wien. He has taken part in festivals in Lille, Biarritz, Gent, Bergamo, Bad Kissingen and La Roque d’Anthéron, as well as the Schubertiade in Vilabertan. He has also performed at the Musikverein in Vienna, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Berlin Philharmonic, Serate Musicale in Milan, Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon and in Munich, Coimbra and Palermo.
In 2019/20 he will return on tour to Japan, including performances at the Hyogo Performing Arts Centre Orchestra under the baton of Yutaka Sado. Other highlights will be a concert with the Munich Chamber Orchestra and Clemens Schuldt in Munich and recitals in Dubrovnik, Lille and Paris.
