Eva Vogel Tickets

German-born mezzo-soprano Eva Vogel won her BA from Mannes College of Music in New York, and her Masters in Music from Yale University. Privately she worked with Christa Ludwig and Brigitte Fassbaender. Having completed her studies in the USA, Eva Vogel became a member of the opera studio at Cologne Opera, before being engaged as a permanent soloist at Düsseldorf Opera as well as Innsbruck Opera, where she was able to extend her wide repertoire with roles such as Orfeo (Gluck), Ramiro (‘La Finta Giardiniera‘), Goffredo (‘Rinaldo‘), Lola (‘Cavalleria Rusticana‘), Cherubino (‘Nozze di Figaro‘), Hänsel (‘Hänsel and Gretel‘), Oktavian (‘Der Rosenkavalier‘), Flora (‘La Traviata‘) and Carmen.

Ms. Vogel became a sought after guest soloist throughout Europe and made appearances with houses such as Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Teatro Massimo Palermo, Teatro Regio Turino and the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. She could be heard in various Wagner parts at festivals such as Aix-en-Provence festival and the Salzburg Easter festival as well as the Lucerne Festival. Eva Vogel has worked with renowned conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Edo de Waart, Ingo Metzmacher and Jonathan Nott.

Equally at home on the concert stage, the young mezzosoprano has appeared in numerous symphony concerts and recitals throughout the world such as in Amsterdam, St. Moritz, Karlsruhe, Elmau, Berlin, München, New York, Alabama, Winnipeg and Seoul. Acclaimed performances in Italy with Beethoven’s Ninth in Milano and ‘Die Walküre‘ in Palermo were followed by other season highlights such as Berlioz‘ ‘Les nuits d'été‘ with Duisburg Philharmonic, Verdi Requiem at Mittelrhein Music Festival, ‘Die Walküre‘ with the Berlin Philharmonic and an evening of Gershwin songs at Klavierfestival Ruhr.

Eva Vogel recently enchanted audiences throughout Europe with Mozart Requiem in Napoli and at the renowned Ravello Music Festival, and with Missa Solemnis with the RAI Orchestra in Torino. She appeared on a concert tour with Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen in Bruges, Gent, Brussels und Antwerp, Rheingold concert version with Sir Simon Rattle and Bayrisches Rundfunkorchester Munich as well as Janacek‘s ‘From the House oft the Dead‘ at Staatsoper Berlin.

Future engagements include ‘Hänsel and Gretel‘ with Opera Nantes/Angers in France as well as a concert tour with the Berlin Philharmonic and Sir Simon Rattle in New York, Vienna, Paris, Tokyo and Taipei.
