Eugenio Silvestri began studying piano at the age of five. As a pianist he has twice won the First Prize in international competitions. He then began studying the violin, with the masters G. Bertagnin and M. Lorenzini and the study of viola, graduating in 1999 under the guidance of Maestro Poggioni at the “G. Verdi ”of Milan with the highest marks. In 1998 he won the Scholarship of the Competition "Città di Vittorio Veneto". 

Eugenio Silvestri specialized at the Fiesole Music School with the masters Farulli Piero, Ghedin, Zanettovich, Danilo Rossi. In 2006 and 2007 he was chosen by the famous violist Juri Bashmet to attend his lectures at the Chigiana Academy of Siena, receiving a scholarship in the last year. At only 17 joined the Italian Youth Orchestra with which he performed in Italy and abroad together with prestigious conductors and soloists (Giulini, Sinopoli, Inbal, Zimermann, Berio ...). He has been repeatedly invited to tour with the European Youth Orchestra. Eugenio Silvestri collaborates with the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra of Milan, the Scala Philharmonic Orchestra, the RAI Orchestra of Turin, the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio of Turin, the Orchestra Simphonica Toscanini, the Orchestra of the Verona Arena and I Solisti di Pavia. He has held concerts in duo with pianists F. Silvestri and D. Dvorkin and in various chamber ensembles, in particular with the Quartetto “Nuove Vie”, with which he won the “Premio Galbiati”, among others, he recorded for the Stradivarius record company the Schumann quartet and has played live for Radio Popolare. Always together with the Quartetto "Nuove vie", made his debut in 2003 at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. As a soloist he played and recorded Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante in 2002 with the “Città di Magenta” Orchestra. Always as a soloist Eugenio Silvestri appeared in the Sala Verdi of the Milan Conservatory playing the concerto for viola and orchestra by K. Stamitz, accompanied by the Orchestra Guido Cantelli. For the Pomeriggi Musicali season in the Palazzo Marino cloister, he held a recital entirely dedicated to works for solo instrument by J. S. Bach as part of the celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the death of the German composer. Recorded two CDs with the Ensemble Risognanze of music by Grisey and Castiglioni. Eugenio Silvestri was invited by "The Society of Concerts" to hold recitals with piano in 2002 at the Teatro delle Erbe and in 2003 in the Puccini hall of the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan. The composer M. Del Prete dedicated a Passacaglia to it for solo viola and a piece for bass, bassoon and viola.
