Elzbieta Wolenska - Flutist, tutor, soloist, chamber and session musician.
She obtained Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste à l’unanimité avec les félicitations du jury in Paris under the supervision of Professor Pierre-Yves Artaud. In 2003 graduates her studies with distinction in flute class under the supervision of Professor Jerzy Mrozik at The Karol Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw. In 2006 became a PhD of Arts and in 2013 she received habilitation. She has been employed as an Associate Professor at The Karol Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw and currently she is a Professor at the Zhaoqing University in China. Since 2010 has acted as the chairman of the Polish Flutist Association.
Elzbieta Wolenska is a dynamic artist who embraces both traditional and contemporary classical music. An avid performer, Elzbieta frequently performs as a soloist with orchestras, and in chamber music groups. Her repertoire includes compositions written for bass, alto, and piccolo flutes. She is interested in performing jazz and contemporary music (including compositions with electronics), where she often collaborates with composers.
Elzbieta recorded 2 CDs. Elzbieta Wolenska&Friends with music of Claude Bolling and pieces for flute solo and Souvenir – world premiere recording of Johann Sedlatzek, XIX century virtuosity romantic music.
