Dorothea Trottenberg is a Swiss-German librarian and translator.
Dorothea Trottenberg graduated as a librarian. Then she studied Slavic studies at the University of Cologne and the State University of Leningrad. She is currently in charge of Slavic and Eastern European Studies at the university library of Basel. She also works as a literary translator from Russian to German. Trottenberg, who is married to Slavist Thomas Grob, lives in Zurich.
Dorothea Trottenberg is a member of the Association of authors of Switzerland and the Association of German-speaking translators of literary and scientific works, VdÜ.
