Dimitri Greeks Espinoza was born in Moscow in 1965. He attended the New York Jazz Mobile and completed the high professional qualification courses at the Siena jazz with P. Tonolo.
In 2000 he founded the group of musical research Dinamitri Jazz Folklore that was awarded the second place in the ranking of the magazine Musica Jazz as the best Italian band. In August 2001 he was invited to play at the Pan-African festival in Brazzaville (Congo). From March 2002 to 2003 he collaborated with Goma Ludovic Parfait, director of the Congolese company Yela wa, within the area of research about the African music tradition of healing through workshops and performances. Since 2004, he operates mainly in two directions: the application of the research results in the traditional cultures to the Dynamites Jazz Folklore music and to the solo concert "Horeb" and the teaching. From 2012 to 2014 he was a musical director of the European project "Azalai-nomadic caravan".
