D-Block & S-Te-Fan is a Dutch hardstyle duo consisting of DJs - Diederik Bakker and Stefan den Das. They started cooperation in 2004.
As a child, Bakker helped his father write electronic music, which allowed him to master musical skills in early childhood. Den Das was a big fan of happy hardcore in the 1990s, from where he got his inspiration. The grouping of the musicians into the team was very successful, after which they have already performed at such festivals as Qlimax, DefQon 1, Thrillogy, and Q-Base.
They were originally released under Next Chapter Records, one later signed to Scantraxx. Bakker and Den Das recorded an anthem for the Qlimax Festival in 2009, entitled "The Nature Of Our Mind". This happened a few months after the release of their first album, Music Made Addictz.
In 2010, the duo was named one of the Top 100 DJs by DJ Mag magazine, ranking 73rd in the ranking, based on the reader's vote. In 2011, the musicians improved their position, taking 40th place in the ranking. A year later, D-Block & S-te-Fan dropped 24 positions in the rankings to 64th. In 2013, the duo was ranked 72nd in the TOP 100 of the best DJs.
