Turn the wow-factor up to maximum on this sunset tour to one of the most scenic spots in the Ionian islands. Yiannis says, ‘In the little church, there's a colourful altarpiece dating from 1799, and an important icon of St Nicholas after which the monastery is named.'The nuns sell a few of their home-grown products so you can pick up some dried herbs, olives or preserves if you like. Next, it's on to our final stop at the tip of Cape Lefkatas where we'll stay to watch the sunset. Known locally as ‘Point of the Lady', after an ancient legend, this twisting peninsula is shaped like a lightning bolt, with cliffs on the west coast and views out to sea.
