We'll firstly visit a typical Maya hut to learn about their ancient customs and meet the local people, after which you'll be shown how to make tortillas and achiote chicken from scratch. Then a healer – or shaman – will take you step by step through the ancestral purification rituals, including seashells and fire in a temazcal, a stone-built sauna.Before dinner, we'll walk through the rainforest to an ancient cenote, where you'll be able to swim in the crystal-clear water.
