He began his elementary level violin studies with the age of seven at the Guillermo Tomas Guanabacoa Conservatory, with Professor Marcos Legra and Armando Toledo. He then goes on to receive classes with Professor Ricardo Justiz, with whom he continues to graduate at a medium level at the National School of Art (ENA).
He performs the social service at the Manuel Saumel conservatory in the province of Cienfuegos, where he takes his first steps as an instrument teacher and in the world of pedagogy in general. Along with this experience he also began as an instrumentalist in the world of Cuban popular music, working with different orchestras of the province, such as the Loyola Orchestra, Festival Orchestra, and other types of groups with which they accompanied different soloists and singers of the zone.
Upon his return to Havana he began working in the Opera orchestra and the National Ballet of Cuba, later in the National Symphony of Cuba and in the Orchestra of the Radio and Television Institute of Cuba, while continuing to teach , but this time at the Guillermo Tomás conservatory.
Also at this stage he began his studies at the Higher Institute of Art of Havana (ISA), having at first as a teacher Emilio Estrada and, later, Alfredo Muños, with whom he obtained a degree in music (violin specialization) as a teacher and solo.
Throughout this stage he has played and accompanied prestigious musicians such as Leo Brower, Michel Legran, Francis Coppola, Silvio Rodríguez, Pablo Milanes, etc.
Also in the genres of Cuban popular music. While in Havana, he has played with different groups and soloists, among them: the Richard Egues Orchestra, the Hudson World Cup, Grupo Costa Caliente, Son Charanga, Omara Portuondo, Elena Burque, Beatriz Marques, etc.
In November 1994 he arrives in Barcelona to give a music conference (the role of the violin and the string instruments in the danzón, chachacha and in the groups called charangas), and begins to teach violin classes in different schools of Barcelona and in the Musics Workshop, school in which he currently works.
While in Barcelona, you are given the opportunity to start playing and familiarize yourself with Flamenco, a genre in which you are involved.
Within this world he has played and recorded with artists such as Miguel Poveda, Ginesa Ortega, Parrita, José Miguel Cerro, Diango, Juan Gómez (Chicuelo), Moncho, Enrique Morente, Estrella Morente, Tomatito, José Andrés Cortés, José Antonio Martin (Salaito), etc.
He has taught, apart from the violin, of Latin Combo in different schools.
He currently plays with different groups such as: 5 "PA" (Latin jazz), Lecuona Quartet (classical), Orquesta Los Virtuosos de Roma and the musical show called Opera Flamenco.
Since 1997, he directs a group of Cuban popular music called CUBAN FLAVOR, the fundamental objective of which is to maintain and promote the different traditional rhythms of the island, with the result of two albums in the international market (Download Buena y Es My Tumbao) They have participated in different events and festivals such as: In De Ysbreker Festival (Amsterdam), Fort Napoleon Salsa Festival (France), Traditional Music Festival (Lisbon), Patras Carnival (Greece), World Music Festival (Madrid) between others.
In 2010 he graduated from the Higher School of Music of Catalonia (ESMUC) in the specialization of Jazz and Modern Music.
