Carla They, born in Parma in a family of musicians, attended the A. Boito Conservatory of Parma and later the G. Nicolini Conservatory of Piacenza where she graduated brilliantly in harp in 1990. After a parenthesis as a fashion designer in Rome, she started her solo career that led her to perform at important international institutions: Italian Consulate in Paris, British Ambassador in Rome, Teatro Regio in Parma, Valli Theater in Reggio Emilia, Ariosto Theater in Reggio Emilia, Palazzo of the Congresses of Campione d'Italia, Palazzo Vendramin of Venice, Stadt-casino and Volkshaus of Basel, Teatro Magnani of Fidenza, Palazzo dei Congressi of Salsomaggiore Terme, Galleria Ricci-Oddi of Piacenza, Palazzo Magnani of Reggio Emilia, Grand Hotel Hermitage of Montecarlo, Bibiena Theater in Mantua, Teatro all'Antica di Sabbioneta, Verdi Theater in Busseto, Brancaccio Palace in Rome, Villa Aurelia in Rome, Yacht Club in Como, Grand H otel des Iles Borromèes in Stresa, Hilton hotel in Amsterdam, Mahler room in Dobbiaco, Schiavi Castle in Fiumefreddo (Taormina) Cloister of Forio d'Ischia, Grand Hotel Villa d'Este in Cernobbio (CO) and other prestigious places. 

Also as a soloist he participated in the concert for the presentation of the "Letter of the Pope to the artists" at the Basilica della Ghiara in Reggio Emilia and at the great concert "The United States meet Parma" at the Paganini Auditorium in Parma where he performed with the most great American harpists. He took part in festivals and prestigious concert events such as "Ravenna Festival" "Festival imaginary places" "The sounds of the Milky Way" "Estri harmoni" "The time of music" "Music around the river" "Pievi and castles in music "" International Classical Music Festival "" Musical Afternoons at Petitot "" Piedmont Music "" International Festival Maria Callas "" Night of the Parish "" Festival Ferdinandeo "" Farnesian musical meetings "" Soli Deo Gloria "" Courts, churches and courtyards " "Napoleonic celebrations on the island of Elba" "Music at the Museum" "Celesti Armonie" "Aperitif concerts of the Toscanini Foundation" and many others. In June 2009 he performed at the castle of Clos-Lucè on the occasion of the twinning between the Castles of the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza and the Castles of the Loire, returns the following year for a recital at the royal castle of Amboise in the presence of many representatives of the nobility European. Extremely eclectic artist, he has given life to various chamber ensembles (for which he carries out accurate philological-bibliographic research, as well as numerous transcriptions) he performs in a flute and harp duo and harp duo - duo cello and harp duo - duo harp and sax - piano trio, violin and harp - duo oboe and harp - trio flute, harp and double bass - accordion duo and harp. Since 1995 he has devoted himself in particular to the repertoire for soprano-harp duo, training with which he held hundreds of concerts in theaters, churches and concert halls of different countries of Europe (Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Germany) personally taking care the transcriptions for harp of all the pieces. Among the most significant experiences are the collaborations with artists such as the tenor Friar Alessandro da Assisi, the mezzosoprano Annamaria Chiuri, the comedian Enrico Beruschi, the actor Tullio Solenghi, the TV presenter Licia Colò, the psychiatrist Paolo Crepet, the critic Vittorio Sgarbi , the writer Marco Buticchi, the actress Paola Pitagora. He took part in the RAI broadcasts "Lo zecchino d'oro" (in European direct) and Sereno Variabile, performing as a soloist. From 2002 he began studying the Celtic harp, an evolution that allowed her to participate in ancient music festivals and historical re-enactments, such as the medieval days at Grandson Castle, the medieval concert at the Lugano Town Hall, and she was invited to the castle Malaspina di Massa, at the castle of Montecchio Emilia (RE), castle of Compiano (PR) and that of Marostica (VR); since 2012 he is a teacher of Celtic harp and ed. music at the "Legenda musica" and San Paolo di Parma schools. Participates in "Parma Poesia festival" 2007 and 2008 edition and at the final day dedicated to Attilio Bertolucci, at the Mantua Literature Festival, at the 18e20 festival of Salsomaggiore Terme, at the Mangiamusica festival, at the poetic-musical Palio "Ermo Colle" writers, the Padus Amoenus Prize, the Violetta di Soragna Prize, and also the musical atmospheres of countless other poetry competitions. His activity ranges also in the field of light music and jazz, he collaborates in shows and record productions with important musicians, in particular they remember the great concert "Orkestrando" at the Paganini auditorium in Parma and "Leaf green eyes" tribute to Fabrizio De Andrè (also at Paganini) and the tribute to Lucio Battisti at the Parco Eridania in Parma. In May 2006 he received the "Moruzzi" award, in 2011 the "Lupo Meli Lupi di Soragna" award, also in 2012 he was awarded the prestigious "Angelo del Correggio" for concerts held in the context of significant charitable initiatives.
