Born in Caltanissetta in 1971 he began studying guitar at a very early age. He graduated in classical guitar, with honors from the Musical Institute drawn "V. Bellini "of Caltanissetta, and in Lute at the Department of Ancient Music of the Conservatory" A. Pedrollo »of Vicenza under the guidance of Maestro Terrell Stone (USA).
He has participated in several national and international master classes held by masters: Alirio Diaz (Venezuela), Angel Torrisi (Argentina), Vladimir Mikulka (Yugoslavia). He took part in several national and international guitar competitions, always reaching the very first places.
Parallel to the study of the guitar, he undertook the study of the Renaissance and Baroque lute under the guidance of Maestro A. Damiani, later attending the lute course at the «S. Cecilia »of Rome. He has attended several international specialization courses in lute and basso continuo, taught by the Masters: A. Damiani (Italy), Pedro Memesdorf (Argentina), Paolo Cherici (Italy), Gilbert Bezzina (France) and Terrell Stone (USA) Rolf Lislevand ( Norway). He has to his credit, hundreds of concerts held in Italy and abroad for the most important festivals and concert associations.
He has collaborated with various theaters in the creation of Baroque works, including the "Teatro alla Scala" in Milan and the "Piccinini" in Bari. He works as a continuist with various ensembles and orchestras, including: the Baroque music ensemble "Dolci Accenti "; with the "Barocchisti" directed by D. Fasolis and with the "Auser Musici". He has recorded for: Romania International radio and for the Romanian state TV, Bongiovanni, Synphonia and for the radio of the Italian Switzerland (RTSI radio due). He is a founding member of the Sicilian Liutistica association "of courtly sonar". At the same time, he carries out an intense didactic and concert activity in Italy and abroad aimed at the dissemination of Italian music of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. with copies of vintage instruments.
