Burcin Savigne graduated with honors from Istanbul University National Conservatory and Postgraduate Performing Arts. During his studies he sang the roles of Hatun in Ahmet Adnan Saygun's opera Ozsoy presented by Cemal Reşit Rey Opera and Chorus and by C.R.R. Orchestra at the Cemal Reşit Rey Istanbul Auditorium. He completed his specialization in Italy at the "Scuola Musicale di Milano" in 1999, studying vocal technique with Carla Vannini, Maria Minetto and Anatoli Gusev. He studied the repertoire with Daniele Agiman, and then continued his studies with Lucinio di Montefusco, Elisabetta di Stefano, Leyla Gencer, Montserrat Caballé and Raina Kabaivanska.
Since 2002, as a soloist at the Istanbul National Opera House he has sung the roles of Mimì in Bohème, Manon in Manon Lescaut, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni; Jenufa in the homonymous work by Janacek, Antonina in Belisario by Donizetti, Leonora in Trovatore, Aida, Desdemona in Verdi's Otello, Chrysothemis in Strauss's Elektra, Giulietta in Contes d’Hoffmann. He also sang in Turkish operas Yusuf ile Zuleyha by Okan Demiris (role of Zuleyha) and Hasanaginica by Asim Horozic (role of Hasanaginica). He sang Tosca and Leonora at the Mersin National Opera House, and Manon Lescaut at the Izmir National Opera House.
He has given concerts in many Turkish cities with the Bursa National Symphony Orchestra, the Izmir National Symphony Orchestra, the I.D.O.B Orchestra, the Borusan Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra; he has also collaborated with the Azerbaijan National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra and the Puccini Orchestra singing in Skopje in Macedonia, in Baku in Azerbaijan, at the New Theater in Moscow, in Milan, at the Teatro degli Impavidi in Sarzana, in Pietrasanta and in many Centers for Italian Culture. In 2010 he sang in London at the ‘Ave Maria’ concerts accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 2014 she sang Giovanna in Giovanna d'Arco, Züleyha in the opera Yusuf ile Zuleyha and Giulietta in the Contes d'Hoffmann in Istanbul, Cio-Cio-San in Madama Butterfly at the Izmir opera and Aida at the Antalya Aspendos Festival in Turkey, as well as a concert for the Buta-Fest in London with the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra.
