Blues Pills are a Swedish rock band, formed in Örebro in 2011.
The four piece released EPs and singles before signing up with German record label Nuclear Blast and releasing a successful self-titled debut album Blues Pills in July 2014. The second album Lady in Gold was released in August 2016, again on Nuclear Blast. The album had high chart entries in the UK and Europe and saw the band touring extensively. After taking a break in 2019, the band recently announced that they are working on new music to be released in 2020 and that they will return to European festival-stages in the summer of 2020.
