Black Inhale is an Austrian thrash / groove metal band from Vienna.
Band history
Black Inhale were founded in 2009. In August of the same year, her self-produced EP Inner Pain was released. In 2011 the band signed with Come Clean Records, where their debut album A Rule of Force was released.
In 2016 the second album A Doctrine of Vultures was released, which was released via Stamping Grounds. Like the EP, it was produced by Jens Bogren. In 2017 you were nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the Hard and Heavy category.
On May 29, 2020, their third album Resilience was released again via Stomping Grounds. Before that, the digital single Escape Room and the video Final Sorrow were released. Shortly before the recordings or the songwriting, the band broke up and singer Raffael "Schlo" Trimmal and drummer Boris Balogh, who had been with the band since 2012, continued on their own until they found a replacement with Andreas Cuenca (guitar) and Mauro Putzer (bass).
Black Inhale appeared at various festivals such as Nova Rock, Summer Breeze, the Full Metal Cruise or the Free & Easy Festival.
Music genre
Musically, the music is reminiscent of Thrash Metal of the 1990s with influences from groove metal and classic heavy metal.
