Bevano Est is a musical project that has been pulsating since 1991 and through the use of acoustic instruments and tradition, proposes a mix of sonorities, rhythms and melodies, catalyzed by the simple desire to communicate an original and recognizable way that traverses customs. There is no need for stylistic belonging but the pride of affirming an aware, curious and welcoming individuality.
Their music is played with the soul and the body, with sweetness and anger, with joy and melancholy.

Bevano Est was formed in 1991 in the school of Musica Popolare of Forlimpopoli as a study project for popular music conducted by Maestro Riccardo Tesi. From the outset, attention is turned to a wide and transversal tradition of music without posing the problem of a philological and specific repetition of an area, thus creating a working method that dares to combine melodies and rhythms in a fusion of genres that creates an original and recognizable style.
The meeting with Hector Ulisses Passarella brings to the group the interest in the culture of Tango, in addition to the deepening of harmony, interpretation and above all musical expression. They are part of the 12 finalists at the 92 edition of Arezzo Wave, participating for two consecutive years at the Folkest in Friuli. They engrave their first C.D. "Gradisca" with a formation of eight elements; In 1994 they took part in the recording work in tribute to Fabrizio De Andre '"Canti Randagi" where a group of folk artists like Peppe Barra, the Baraban, the Ciapa Rusa, Tesi-Vaillant, Elena Ledda & Sonos ... .. thanks to the use of the various minor languages and instruments of the folk tradition, they offer a passionate rereading of some of the most significant compositions of the Genoese singer-songwriter. Relationships are born with the theater where the group is called to compose, arrange and perform live, music for shows, including "Fire Central" "Capture the breath" of the Valdoca Theater, "Stray dogs matter" by Masque Teatro, "El "With Veronica Mellis.
They make the soundtracks for the film by Giuseppe Bertolucci "The sweet noise of life" and for the documentary Signs Particulars, presented at the Venice Film Festival and their music has been included in "Cento Chiodi" and "Terra Madre" by Ermanno Olmi.
