Teodor Currentzis and his ensemble musicAeterna give two concerts in the 2026 Pure Classics series at the Concert Hall of the Beijing Performing Arts Centre in Tongzhou, a branch of the NCPA.

musicAeterna was founded by Teodor Currentzis in Novosibirsk in 2004, was based at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre from 2011 to 2019 and has been resident at the House of Radio in St Petersburg since 2019. Its recordings with Currentzis for Sony Classical have won the ECHO Klassik, Edison and BBC Music Magazine awards. Pianist Eva Gevorgyan was a finalist of the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. The programme may change.
