About

Graduated with honors in Philosophy at the University of Bologna, she graduated brilliantly in Opera Singing under the guidance of Evghenia Dundekova at the Conservatory "G. Rossini" of Pesaro, subsequently deepening the study of baroque performance practice with Roberta Invernizzi. He attends master classes with the major international interpreters of the ancient, Renaissance and Baroque repertoire, including Gloria Banditelli, Jill Feldman, Monica Bacelli, Rinaldo Alessandrini. He perfects himself in the bel canto vocality with Sherman Lowe.
 

He obtained the II Level Diploma in Renaissance and Baroque Singing with the highest marks and honors at the “A. Pedrollo ”of Vicenza under the guidance of Patrizia Vaccari, winning the Award for Best Student in the context of the VIth Competition of Ancient Music" Fatima Third Prize ".

Selected as a finalist in numerous international competitions, including the "International Sacred Music Competition" in Rome 2009, the International Baroque Singing Competition "Francesco Provenzale" 2009 and the International Singing Competition "Città di Bologna" 2011, the first winner Award at the 1st International Baroque Singing Competition of Pienza "The music of the Popes" 2011.

He carries out intense concert activity at Italian and international Festivals, singing as a solo voice or in vocal ensemble under the direction of numerous conductors, including Claudio Astronio, Alfredo Bernardini, Alberto Busettini, Giovanni Battista Columbro, Paolo Faldi, Marco Mencoboni, Riccardo Muti, Massimiliano Pascucci, Elena Sartori, Christopher Stembridge.

On stage debuts the roles of Proserpina and Speranza in "Orfeo" by Monteverdi, Dido in "Dido and Aeneas" by Purcell, Phalti in "Susanna" by Gazzaniga, Ino in "Semele" by Handel, Nice in "Serenata a tre" by Vivaldi.

He sings as a soloist in Pesaro at the Teatro Rossini, in Vicenza at the Teatro Comunale, the Teatro Olimpico and the Auditorium Canneti, in Castelfranco Veneto at the Academic Theater, in Fano at the Teatro della Fortuna, in Padua at the Auditorium Pollini, in Verona at the Nuovo Montemezzi Auditorium, in Venice at Palazzo Pisani, in Milan at the Auditorium San Fedele and at the Sala Verdi, in Bassano del Grappa at the Remondini Theater. Host of the program Piazza Verdi on Rai radio3 performs live arias from the unpublished Oratorio "Susanna" by Gazzaniga.

He collaborates with the pianists Stefania Redaelli and Mario Totaro on contemporary chamber music programs, performs Berio's Folk Songs and Schoenberg's Pierrot lunaire, taking part in first performances of contemporary compositions, both in vocal ensemble and as a solo voice.

He collaborates with various vocal groups in the ancient and contemporary repertoire, including Coro da Camera of Bologna, Cappella Artemisia, Ensemble Melodi Cantores, Vox Altera.

He also devotes himself to oral music, focusing on the Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jewish repertoire, giving life to the Ananke project in 2004, with which he participated in important music festivals in Italy, Austria, France and Israel. Currently he continues to dedicate himself to the Sephardic repertoire in the ambit of the Aman Sepharad project, with which he carries out intense concert activity in Italy and Europe.

He collaborates permanently with the Laus Concentus ensemble, and in particular with the lutists Massimo Lonardi and Maurizio Piantelli. The trio La Mandragora has recently been formed, with Svetlana Fomina and Sara Mancuso, with whom he delves into the late medieval repertoire, and the duo with the harpsichordist and fortepianist Chiara Cattani.

For several years he has also devoted himself to singing teaching with both adults and children, giving life to Scolca's Vocal Chapel, a vocal structure that has its permanent seat at the Renaissance Abbey of Santa Maria Annunziata Nuova di Scolca in Rimini.

He currently follows a course of study on choir conducting under the guidance of Maestro Aldo Cicconofri, continuing to deepen the vocal belcanto emission with Maestro Fernando Cordeiro Opa.

He records for the Ipecac Recordings, Tactus, Brilliant Classics, Glossa-Harmonia Mundi labels.
