German violinist Anne-Katharina Schreiber is noted for her performances as a concerto soloist and as a concertmaster with several orchestras, though she has been most closely associated with the early music movement since she joined the Freiburger Barockorchester in 1988.
She has also played with the Akademie für Alte Musik, the Kammerorchester Basel, the Balthasar-Neumann-Ensemble, and Collegium Vocale Gent. Schreiber has also been a member of the piano trio Trio Vivente, and she teaches violin at the Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg. Her recordings have been released by Harmonia Mundi.
