Angelo Pintus (Trieste, 21 May 1975) is an Italian comedian, imitator, television personality and showman.
Angelo Pintus was born in Trieste from a father of Sardinian origin and mother of Franco-Ligurian origins. His childhood and adolescence are divided between Sardinia, France and Trieste, which allows him to develop a particular comic verve since school.
He started very young to become a Valtur animator.
In 2000, he formed the Angelo & Max duo with the comedian Max Vitale. In 2001 the two are often guests at the Maurizio Costanzo Show and appear on other television programs.
The couple won the competition Tonight I throw myself in 2007 and the separation of the duo is followed by Angelo's participation in various Mediaset programs, as a Guide to the championship.
From 2009 to 2015 he is part of the cast of Colorado, in which he initially proposes the section Sfighe (parody of the sports in-depth program Challenges), starting to make himself known thanks to imitations of sports figures. The column then evolves into Sfighe nel Storia and Sfighe in after school. Since 2011, he has been proposing the column Non sopporto più, extending the imitations to other characters from the entertainment world. His last presence in the program, as a special guest in a single episode, dates back to 2016 with a monologue on cyberbullying.
His presence in Colorado begins to diminish in 2013, when Pintus starts his 50-tone one-man tour show, which records a sold out record in theaters throughout Italy (150 dates are exceeded).
Participate in the Coca-Cola Summer Festival, in 2014 he is a guest of the Zelig program where he brings a monologue on advertising and makes his cinema debut with the film Tutto molto bello, directed by Paolo Ruffini, and later appears in the film Ma tu di che segno 6? directed by Neri Parenti.
On December 20, 2014 proposes the special show Pintus @ Forum at the Assago Forum, broadcast on Italia1 on January 14, 2015, registering over 2,600,000 spectators for a share of 9.7%.
He is called as a guest during the second evening of the 2015 Sanremo Festival, while from March 30 to May 29, 2015 he conducted the TV program Karaoke on Italia 1.
He then resumed the theatrical tour 50 shades of Pintus to conclude in July in his Trieste.
On November 13, 2015 he begins his second theater tour, I am now a MILF, which initially included less than 70 dates but, by popular acclaim, exceeded the record of 50 Pintus Shades with over 200 dates.
He was a guest of the Made in Sud program on 17 May 2016.
On September 10th 2016, the Pintus @ Arena special show, recorded at the Verona Arena and broadcast on Italia1 on September 25th, gaining over 1,677,000 spectators and a 7.9% share, despite the competition made by NCIS - Anti-crime unit, Don Matteo and a new episode of the fiction Il segreto.
On September 13, 2016, he presented the award for best musical elected from the web at Notre Dame de Paris, at the Italian Musical Awards evening event held at the Teatro Brancaccio in Rome, broadcast December 26 on Canale 5.
On 19 October 2016 he participated in the fourth episode of Bring the Noise, conducted by Alvin on Italia 1.
December 9, 2016 is instead a guest at Zelig, hosted by Michelle Hunziker and Christian De Sica and on December 19, he participates in a service of Le Iene.
The tour ends in Trieste By now I am a MILF on 20 May 2017 and from 30 October 2017 to 29 April 2018 is at the Teatro Manzoni in Milan, with the show E se se il cavallo? one week a month for a total of 42 dates that register around 33,000 visitors.
January 23, 2018 participates as a guest in Tonight Everything is Possible, hosted by Amadeus and on May 18, 2018 he is in London for a special show at the Union Chapel Theater.
On September 8th, 2018, the only summer date was held at Ostia Antica, a special show filmed for Italia 1, aired September 13th with 1,542,000 viewers (7.8% share).
From the Teatro Sociale di Sondrio, on 5 October 2018, it started again on tour with the show Destinati all'Est situations.
