Andrea Semeraro was born in Trieste in 1976 and began singing at the age of 6 with the white voices song "I Piccoli Cantori of the city of Trieste" with which he participated in dozens of concerts in Italy and Europe, performing pieces of sacred polyprony and music, music popular (in the original language) and musical excerpts.

Andrea Semeraro attends the middle school attached to the “G. Tartini ”of Trieste where I started studying the oboe. In 1992 he enrolled in the saxophone class of prof. MarcoBontempo and in 1994 took part in the first absolute performance of the opera for 4sax soloists and 100 saxes in motion by the composer Salvatore Sciarrino: "The mouth, ipiedi, the sound" performed at the Teatro Comunale of Chiaravalle (AN). At the age of 18 he began collaborating with the most important choral institutions of the city and in 1996 he began his solo activity with the Misa Criolla performed in the Cathedral of San Giuston in the context of the "Trieste Prima" event - music of the 900. He studied music in Trieste with the masters R. Susovsky and W. Coppola and in Milan with BM Casoni attended various advanced courses (with C. Desderi, C. Cossutta, D. Mazzola). He has performed numerous concerts in Italy and abroad that have allowed him to face a consistent sacred and symphonic repertoire (WA Mozart, G.Rossini, A. Dvoràk, G. Puccini, L. Janacèk, C. Saint-Saens, G Paisiello, Charpentier, G. Faurè, J. Haydn, GF Haendel, A. Vivaldi, LV Beethoven, B.Britten).
In 1998 he interpreted Spiridione in the opera "Il Campanello" by G. Donizetti and later with the Teatro Lirico "G. Verdi ”of Trieste, the role of the commissarionel“ Signor Bruschino ”by G. Rossini and in the summer of the same year is Ubaldo nellarara“ Pia de ’Tolomei” by G. Donizetti.
In the following years, at the Teatro Regio in Turin, he was entrusted with a number of parts in "Sly", by W. Ferrari (with J. Carreras), in the "Johannes Passiones" by JS Bach (with J. Van Dam) and in the "Assassination in the Cathedral" by I. Pizzetti (with R. Raimondi). In 2001 he founded the Auricorale Vivavoce (40 elements) in Trieste, with which he carried out teaching and concert activities until 2009 performing, as director, the Requiem KV626 by WA Mozart, the "Misa Criolla" by A. Ramirezed recording a CD promoted by the Municipality of Trieste.
In 2003 he founded the sextet "Italian Harmonists" (5 voices and a piano) composed by dacolleghi of the Teatro alla Scala, with whom he carries out an intense concert, record and theatrical activity.
Since 2005 he has been hired by manager Steve Nagy (In Entertainment) to an official video (with pianist Jader Costa) during the world cruise aboard the Japanese luxury yacht "Asuka II" (Athens, Venice, Taormina, Naples).
Recently he was applauded as an interpreter of the Serenade op. 31 by B. Britten (for tenor, horn and orchestra), in the "Messiah" by G. F. Haendel, Don Basilio in the Mozart 'Nozze di Figaro "in Como and in the" Liebeslieder "by Brahms in Cremona. At the Teatro alla Scala he held some solo parts in "Rosenkavalier" by R. Strauss, in "Alcina" by G. F. Haendel and, more recently, in "Death in Venice" by B. Britten and "Manon" by J. Massenet. In 2010/2011 he performed with personal and critical success the "Dies Natalis" by G. Finzi, the StabatMater by F. J. Haydn, the IX symphony of L. V. Beethoven and the Messa da Requiem by G. Verdi.
Coming soon, at La Scala, she will be involved as a soloist in the Natal Concert on RAI1 where she will perform the "Elias" by F. Mendelsshon.
