About
Andrea Battistoni is an Italian composer, cellist, conductor and writer.
He studied at the "E. F. Dell'abaco" Conservatory in Verona, where he graduated in 2006. Later he perfected with Ennio Nicotra in Russia, with Gabriele Ferro at The Music School of Fiesole, with Gianandrea Noseda at The Music Academy of Stresa; he was also assistant to Piercarlo Orizio.
In June 2008 he made his debut at the International Festival "A. B. Michelangeli" in Brescia and Bergamo, while in October of the same year he made his operatic debut with Puccini's Bohème at the Basel Theatre.
In the same year Rizzoli published his first book :" it's not music for old people".
He was the creator of the music dissemination project "Andrea Battistoni & the B-Side Trio".
