Children's choir (from 6 years)
As gingerbread children, street children, acolytes or elves, the children's choir stands together with the professionals on the stage of the Hamburg State Opera. In addition to the regular repertoire rehearsals, the children and young people are prepared for their musical and acting assignments with language coaching, scenic training and solo voice training. Have you always wanted to sing along and slip into exciting roles? Come to audition!
Youth choir (from 15 to 25 years)
After the children's choir comes the youth choir! The repertoire ranges from a cappella works to pop arrangements, from the Middle Ages to contemporary music. The choir can be heard live in the coming season with the Philharmonic State Orchestra under the direction of Kent Nagano with a world premiere at the Elbphilharmonie.
