Nominated in the category "Lyrical Revelation of the Year" at the Victories of Classical Music Awards 2011, French Baritone Alexandre Duhamel studied at the Paris National Conservatory and was a member of the Paris Opera Young Artist Program. He was awarded 'The Lyrical Prize of the Carpeaux Circle' and 'The Association Prize for the outreach of the Opéra National de Paris', which both reward the most noticeable young singer during a season.

Boulanger), at the Aix-en-Provence Festival, in the 40th Anniversary concert of the Ancient Theater of Orange and has given recitals at Amphitheater and Studio Bastille, the Corum of Montpellier for the Radio France Festival, and at the Opera de Bordeaux. He made his US debut with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra under Ludovic Morlot for The Child and Spells. His concert repertoire includes Fauré's Requiem, Puccini's Messa di Gloria, Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle, Beethoven's Symphony No.9, Berlioz's L'Enfance du Christ and Debussy's The Prodigal Son. He has recorded Ramiro in Ravel's Spanish Hour with Stéphane Denève and Asher Fisch.
