About
Alessio Cacciamani was born in Rome in 1987. At early age he began studying music in the choir of Schola Pueri Cantores of the Cappella Musicale Pontificia taking part to several concerts and recordings.
In 2008 he got his degree in bassoon from Conservatorio Licinio Refice in Frosinone, in 2010 he ernead a master degree in bassoon at Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome, after he continued studying with Francesco Bossone, first bassoon at Orchestra Nazionale dell'Accademia di S. Cecilia.
As bassoonist he had an intense concert activity and he collaborated with chamber music ensembles and orchestras.
He began to study singing under the guidance of Teresa Rocchino and in 2013 he entered to the Mozarteum in Salzburg where he will graduate in vocal studies in October 2015.
In 2014 he debuted Don Giovanni (Commendatore) in Salzburg and he was soloist bass in Mozart's Requiem in Milan with Mozart Italia Association.
During the season 2015/16 he will take part to OperAvenir at Theater Basel performing some roles in Die Zauberflöte, Samson et Dalila, Macbeth, Chowanschtschina.
He will perform the High Priest in Nabucco in July in Caracalla and Un ballo in maschera in October at Teatro dell'Opera in Rome.
