About
Alessandro Stefanelli, born in Taranto / Italy, studied piano and composition at the Conservatorio di Musica in Monopoli.
In the season 2016/17 he was a pianist member of the Young Artist Program at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, where he participated in several masterclasses. He was maestro al harpsichord, accompanist and pianist in special programs on the main stage of the Teatro dell'Opera. At the Accademia del Belcanto "Rodolfo Celletti" he was given the opportunity to study with Fabio Luisi as part of the Festival della Valle d'Itria. There he also worked as a répétiteur for the premiere Le braci by Marco Tutino. Further engagements led him u. a. to Rome, Naples, Parma, Verona, Innsbruck and Vienna. Since the season 2017/18 he is a pianist in the opera studio of the Bavarian State Opera.
